Jack is doing so good they think he will get to come home in about a week. We have been learning how to take care of him on our own once he's home. We are just waiting for him to get off all his drugs. He doesn't have jaundice anymore. He's been eating better from a bottle, but he will be on a feeding tube for awhile at home. Everything went well with the ct scan; it's all normal and they did a hearing test today and that's all good too. He still throws up quite a bit and has a little bit of thrush left to get rid of. Other than that he is very happy. His new thing to do all the time is standing. We cant wait to bring him home.

Jack is good. He still won't eat on his own. The jaundice is going away and the wound vac is still off so he can lay on his tummy for the first time only because he is hooked to monitors. He gets his ct scan on monday to make sure everything is ok there. He had a upper gi scan to see why he throws up so much, but it turns out he doesn't have really bad reflux or any blockages on the upper part so they have to look more into why he is throwing up. We are way excited for his progress. He's a good natured baby and the nurses love him.

Jack is doing really good. They took off his wound Vac said they want him to close on his own and they are going to leave it off for a week and see how he does. His infection cleared up. He still has jaundice and reflux. The only thing holding him from coming home is him not eating on his own. They might give him a GI tube or teach us how to feed him through his nose.
